The 'buffet' dress workshop - Saturday 24th July, 9am-5pm
Northchurch Social Centre, Berkhamsted

£90/person inc. Butterick pattern

In this 8 hour workshop you will cut out and make this loose fitting, flattering summer dress.

Suitable for beginners with a little experience of using a sewing machine (basic stitches) to intermediate sewers. In this workshop you will learn how to place your pattern pieces, cut out, sew gathers, and make elastic casings. The workshop will cover all techniques needed to make the dress.

You will need to bring:

• a sewing machine
• your fabric (see below for sizes and fabric requirements) and matching thread (2x100m spools)
• basic sewing kit - pins, scissors etc.
